Nearby you will find Praia da Senhora da Rocha with its white chapel on the top of a cliff, protecting the fishermen.

Silves (15 km) - In the ancient old capital of the Algarve, you can visit the old part of the city, the castle, the cathedral (Sé) and the museum. You can also go to Faro, the capital of the Algarve (50 km).

Lagos (35 km) - In the historical city of Lagos, see the ruins, the fort, the church, the museum and the Ponte da Piedade (view point).

Monchique mountain and its highest view point Foia (50 km inland), and on the West coast, Sagres and the Costa Vicentina (55 km), are must-see sites for nature lovers.

There are many other attractions in the surrounding area such as theme parks, golf and other sports (horse riding, snorkeling, big fishing, scuba diving), local arts and crafts, and shopping at the Algarve Shopping Centre.

Travel information

Arrival by car from Faro airport:
- When leaving the Faro airport drive towards Faro.
- After approximately 2 km take the exit on your right-hand side towards Portimão.
- Follow the blue signs to Portimão along the motorway (the A22).
- Exit at Alcantarilha; continue following signs towards Portimão (turn to the right when you reach the big roundabout).
- You are now on the national road EN125 towards Portimão. After approximately 4 km take the left turn towards Porches.
- Follow the yellow signs towards VILA VITA Parc Resort & Spa, which is now approximately 3 km away.
- Turn off to the right, indicated by the signs. The entrance is down the road on your left-hand side.

Important information

Please note that seasonal cancellation policies apply. From October to March a cancellation of up to 8 days before the date of arrival results in no extra charge. If cancelled later, or in case of no show, 25% of the total stay will be charged. From April to September a cancellation of up to 22 days before the date of arrival will result in no extra charge. If cancelled later, or in case of no show, 25% of the total stay will be charged.

Up to 2 children under 13 years of age staying in a room of their own are charged a single room rate. Three children under 13 years of age are charged a twin room rate.
