Food & beverage

The stylish but informal restaurant has panoramic views leading towards the sea. Using only the freshest ingredients (some of which we grow ourselves) the food is of the highest quality. Chef/owner Lee Newsome (former head chef at savoy london) has created fantastic food to suit all tastes and budgets. The menu reflects the many international influences Lee has enjoyed throughout his career, changing every two months to match his mood and ingredient availability. Our wine list is a selection of quality regional portuguese wines that reflect exceptional value for money.

Area information

Almancil is a town and a civil parish of Loulé, situated in the Algarve region along the southern shoreline of Portugal, enjoying warm climate all year round.

From the hotel it is a short drive to some of the best golf courses in the Algarve, and 10 minutes from stunning, golden beaches, as well as Faro Airport. Shops, restaurants and bars are all in local abundance.

Located in the east of the village is the church of São Lourenço. Covered inside with beautiful 18th Century ceramic tiles it is an outstanding example of Algarvian Architecture. Also located in Almancil is the Estádio Algarve, which was used in the 2004 European Football Championship.

Travel information

Once at Faro International Airport, taxis can easily be found just outside the arrivals hall. Hotel transport to and from the airport is available on request.
