You can visit the Monti Incappiddatu, a granite mountain named for its form, resembling a mushroom, and a true natural monument to an age long before the arrival of the first Romans. Then there are the fascinating well-preserved archaeological sites from the Nuragic period, such us the Albucciu Nuraghe and the Giant’s Tomb, near Cannigione and, slightly further north, the temple of Malchittu, featuring rare and wonderful architecture.
