The 4-star hotel Vltava is located in the historic town of Frymburk on the peninsula of Lake Lipno in Southern Bohemia, also called 'Venice of The Šumava Forest'.

The shore is just 100 metres away from the hotel. Traditional Czech specialities, especially venison and a wide range of various drinks, including high-quality wines can be enjoyed in the restaurant. A swimming pool, a sauna, massages, a garden and a sun terrace invite you to relax and a tennis court is there for all guest who are into sports. Close to the hotel there is a beach and a port, where you can start your sightseeing boat tour on the Lipno lake or take a ferry to the other shore. There is a marvellous national park, which used to be a prohibited area guarded by the army due to its closeness to the Austrian border. Endless possibilities for walking or cycling trips can be enjoyed in the scenic surroundings. You can rent mountain bikes from the hotel!

During winter season there are 2 ski slopes in Frymburk and 5 ski slopes, 3600 m in length with 5 ski lifts, night skiing etc. in the nearby resort (5 km) of Kramolin. There are 25 km of cross country ski runs (one of them starts just in front of the hotel) and you can also go skating on the lake.

Don't miss the lovely UNESCO-protected city of Český Krumlov.
