The 3-star hotel Schweizerhof offers completely renovated, non-smoking rooms, a rich buffet breakfast, 24-hour continental breakfast, a hotel bar with a smoking area, a business corner with free access to the internet and free use of public transportation in the surrounding area. Free parking for a maximum of 6 cars is available but more than 500 parking spaces can be found around the hotel.

All important museums, theatres, sport stadiums, the Basel Zoo as well as the congress and exhibition centre are easily reachable on foot or by public transportation.

Renovation notice:
From 24 November 2008 until 23 March 2009 40 hotel rooms will be renovated, but the hotel remains open at all times. At least 43 rooms are always in use. The reception area, the breakfast room, the bar and lounge area, the guest lift and the business corner are not affected by the work at any time! Kindly excuse any inconvenience from Monday to Saturday during working hours (Saturday from 10:00 until 17:00 at the latest).
