There are several other restaurants/bars within the village, all offering good, hearty meals at reasonable prices. All are within walking distance of the Obertrauner Hof.

The village of Obertraun is situated on the eastern shores of beautiful Lake Hallstatt, in the Inner Salzkammergut. Boasting a unique blend of 7,000 years of history and stunning natural beauty, the Inner Salzkammergut is a special place to visit.
This tranquil village is ideally situated for you to enjoy all that the Inner Salzkammergut has to offer. The UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hallstatt is a short ferry ride away. The famous Dachstein Ice Cave is on your doorstep, as well as the impressive Five Fingers viewing platform perched on the edge of the Krippenstein. You can also enjoy some of the peaceful walking trails around the Koppenwinkl or Hallstatt lakes, or relax by the side of the lake with a good book. There really is something for everyone!
In winter you can take advantage of the extensive Dachstein West Ski Region, offering 140 km of slopes as well as the Krippenstein Freeride Arena, for those who enjoy the off-piste experience.
